Welcome
Start here to understand the Print-Portal workflow.
Learn how to prepare models and request a quote for full-color 3D printing.
What the Print-Portal is
The Print-Portal is a web-based workspace in your browser. You upload 3D models, place them in a virtual build volume, and when you are ready you sign in and request a formal quote so Updruck can review and produce your parts.
Nothing is manufactured automatically from the portal alone—the quote request is the handoff to the team.
What you can do
- Create and save projects locally in your browser (same device and profile).
- Import STL, GLB, and OBJ (multi-file or ZIP for OBJ)—see Supported file types and Submitting a project.
- Arrange, scale, and copy models inside the printable volume.
- Request a quote with shipping details once you sign in.
- Track submissions from your account after you have sent a request.
How these docs are organized
- Getting started — Quickstart (checklist), Your data and uploads (privacy overview), and this Welcome page.
- Guides — Supported file types and related topics.
- Submitting a project — full walkthrough: Submitting a project (projects, models, submission).
If you are new, open the portal from the home page, run the optional tour, then use Quickstart or jump straight to Submitting a project while you try a sample file.
Data, privacy, and uploads
For a plain-language overview of what stays on your device and uploads when you quote, see Your data and uploads.
